The Advanced Placement program, a nationally recognized program sponsored by the College Board, enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue university-level studies with the opportunity to earn college credit or advanced placement. The program offers both AP and Pre-AP courses, which include content and skills to prepare students for AP courses.

AP Courses are open to whoever would like to participate. Students need to be able to apply advanced critical thinking and analytical skills that are typical of comparable college-level courses.


Through the Advanced Placement program, students are introduced to more complex coursework that better prepares them for the demands of college.  College credit may be awarded upon completion of courses with qualifying AP exam scores.


AP courses cost $93 per course.
